California College of the Arts (CCA), founded in 1907, is the largest regionally accredited, independent school of art and design in the western United States. California College of the Arts is noted for the interdisciplinarity and breadth of its programs. We offer studies in 22 undergraduate and 11 graduate majors in the areas of Fine Arts, Architecture, Design, Writing, and more. The Lankershim Arts Center is an all-inclusive arts facility located in the heart of North Hollywood in the NoHo Arts District of Los Angeles. For the past 10 years, the Center has been operated by The Other Side of the Hill Productions, Inc., a registered not-for-profit company, providing quality theatre, fine art and various arts programs including acting classes for adults and kids.

The Center is home to the award-winning Road Theatre Company, NoHo Gallery LA and many arts programs geared to the growing NoHo arts community. Built circa 1939 as a Department of Water & Power Building, the Lankershim Arts Center was renovated and transformed into an arts center by the Department of Cultural Affairs of the City of Los Angeles. It is now a registered cultural landmark.

27. LC Faces Makeup Lessons, Austin TX

Founded by makeup artist Lauren Clark, LC Makeup School provides one-on-one makeup lessons and tutorials to students of all levels in the Austin, San Antonio, Dallas and Houston areas. Lessons take place on location for your convenience, or in our studio in Round Rock, Texas.

After completing her first cosmetology class in 1999, Lauren Clark knew she wanted a career as a make-up professional. Over the next 15 years, Lauren pursued and gained a strong experience base to transform that calling into a reality.

Today, Lauren draws from her past experience as counter manager with Clarins, make-up artist for MAC Cosmetics, and the high-visibility work she has performed with clients ranging from Eva Longoria, Betsey Johnson, Seventeen Magazine & ESPN.
