Penn State World Campus is the online campus of Pennsylvania State University offering distance education programs to learners from around the world. The online Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) certificate program provides graduate-level courses designed for candidates seeking entry-level English language teaching credentials. All of our TESOL courses are delivered entirely online to give you maximum convenience and flexibility around your busy schedule, and the courses are taught by the same faculty who teach in our resident Master of Arts in TESL (MA TESL) program at University Park.
All 12 graduate credits in the online TESOL certificate can be transferred in to the MA TESL program at Penn State. If you choose to enter the master's degree program, you will only have 2–3 semesters of on-campus learning.

The Boston Academy of English (BAE) offers a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) Certificate to both native and non-native speakers of English from the US and around the world, through an experiential approach which is both academically rigorous and personally supportive. The program is available as a full-time (4 weeks) or a part-time (12 weeks) course.
Two trainers will teach your workshops and conduct your practice teaching observations. Our trainers have Master's degrees in Education or ESL, and extensive experience teaching English in diverse settings both in the US and abroad.

EC Boston, located in Boston, Massachusetts offers a TEFL certificate program for students who are interested in teaching English as a second language (ESL) or English as a foreign language (EFL) in the USA or overseas. The TEFL course can be taken as a full-time four-week course or as a part-time course with evening / weekend classes held over seven weeks.
Our mission is to equip prospective language teachers with an understanding of current methods and approaches to language teaching as well as practical teaching tools. Students in our course spend at least 3 hours outside of the class in observation of actual ESL classes (some at EC Boston), several hours in peer teaching, and at least 6 hours in a teaching practicum in which they teach real ESL students.
EC Boston has a great location in the centre of the city's Back Bay district, just a short walk away from Copley Square and other famous attractions.
